At the heart of Fight Night Records is a Tascam M600 mixing console, rescued by the twins from PBSfm’s Studio 5, some years ago. The desk recorded all of the radio station's live performances in its previous life, and continues its legacy of capturing live performances from some of our city's favourite acts.
The series can be viewed via the Fight Night Records YouTube channel and its Instagram LinkTree.
With Season 3 already in production, the series will be ongoing throughout 2023 and will feature acts including Freya Josephine Hollick and Ella Hooper.
Fight Night Records is a recording studio perched above Dutch Vinyl record store on the bottom edge of Abbotsford's LoJo strip. The studio is run by identical twins Harley & Delaney Stewart and was established in 2015.
The studio is currently in the process of rolling out the second season of its Live at Fight Night Records series, presented by Mountain Goat Brewery.
The online series captures live sets from some of Melbourne’s favourite established and emerging acts, including Grace Cummings, Folk Bitch Trio, Felix Riebl, Gabriella Cohen, Jazz Party, Bones & Jones, Louis Valentine & the Golden Age, The Counterfeit and Sweet Talk.
